Privacy policy
Find out what data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have.
Effective from:
1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is magnes Szymon Magnuszewski, a sole trader registered in Poland, Tax ID (NIP) 8842807109 (the “Controller”).
For data protection matters you can reach us at magnes.kontakt@gmail.com or +48 575 960 213.
2. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data only to handle the contact you initiated. In particular:
- to respond to inquiries sent through the contact form or by email — based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the Controller's legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients),
- to protect the service from abuse and spam and to keep it secure — based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest),
- to comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting law, once a contract is in place — based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
3. Data we collect
Through the contact form we collect:
- the name (or company name) you enter,
- your email address,
- the content of your message,
- technical information needed to deliver a reply and prevent abuse (including your IP during CAPTCHA verification and the timestamp of form submission).
Providing data is voluntary but required to receive a reply. If you contact us directly by email or phone, we process the data you share with us in that exchange.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data may be shared with the following categories of recipients acting on our behalf:
- Resend, Inc. — the email delivery service we use to receive messages from the contact form,
- Cloudflare, Inc. — provider of the Turnstile CAPTCHA used to protect the form from bots and abuse,
- our hosting provider — for the technical operation of the website,
- accounting service providers and public authorities — only where a contract is in place or where required by applicable law.
We never sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. International transfers
Some of our providers (Resend, Cloudflare) are based in the United States. Transfers take place under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision issued by the European Commission (Data Privacy Framework).
6. Retention
We retain data no longer than necessary:
- correspondence related to your inquiry — up to 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer period is justified (e.g. when an engagement begins),
- documents related to a signed contract — for the period required by applicable law (including tax and accounting law),
- technical data linked to CAPTCHA verification — for the period defined by the provider, typically no more than a few days.
7. Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it,
- rectify (correct) your data,
- erase your data (the “right to be forgotten”),
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on the Controller's legitimate interest,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) if you believe the processing infringes GDPR.
To exercise these rights please contact us at magnes.kontakt@gmail.com.
8. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing. We do not use third-party tracking tools (Google Analytics, advertising pixels, and the like).
We only use strictly necessary browser storage (localStorage) to remember your theme preference (light/dark) and selected language. This data never leaves your browser and cannot identify you.
As part of its verification, Cloudflare Turnstile may store short-lived technical identifiers solely to distinguish a human user from a bot.
9. Automated decision-making
Your data is not used for automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the law or the way the service works changes. The current version is always published here together with its effective date.
